On Wed. Night May 30th we had the great honor of helping out at the Fairhaven Rescue Mission in Covington.  We truly had a blessed time serving and worshipping with the men at the mission.  Here are a few of our pictures.

We started with a tour that began in the laundry and shower facilities in the basement.  This basement was dug out by shovels and buckets after the property was purchased.

We then went up and back down three flights of narrow stairs.  These are in the center of the facility and take you where ever you need to go.

On the top floor is the dorm where the overnight residents stay.

This is the alley outside the building.  The building is a fully renovated 100 year old facility.  Everything is very neat, clean and something to be proud of.

After the tour we received our basic instruction for KP, that is kitchen patrol for those who may not know.  The ladies loved the little hats.

After our instructions we went to work serving a great meal of chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, and salad.

After the chapel service we gathered outside for a photo of the whole gang.

Please continue to pray for Dave and Sandra as they lead Fair Haven and its ministries. They serve thousands of meals every month and have a great ministry that is dedicated to empowering men and leading them to a relationship with Jesus Christ.
