I would like to take this opportunity to express how much I appreciate the way our various committees have been faithfully working.  Three of these groups are:
 

1. The Mission Organization of our church, which is under the leadership of Ann Leake, WMU Director.  She has met with her Leadership Team in order to provide a thriving and growing work among the kids of our church.  Read her article which is printed elsewhere in this newsletter.  
2. Another group that I would like to express our appreciation is the Minister of Education/Youth Search Committee.  This group is made up of Leslie Brock, Paula Burden, Kim Reams, Scott Young-Chairperson and Trent Weaver.  Ex-officio members of this committee are Monty Hagstrom, Floyd Humphrey and the Pastor.  They are accepting resumes for this position and evaluating each one for this very important position.  Pray for them that the person they present will be God's choice and God's person for our church.  It is vital that as a church family we pray for the provision of finances to take care of this staff position as well as the various ministry needs of our church. 
3. One more group that I would like to focus on is the Video Projector Team composed of Kevin Burch, Todd Reams and Tom York.  They are doing a wonderful job of utilizing this technology for announcements, songs and sermon outlines.  It's not an easy task and yet they make it seem so easy.  They work hand in hand with our sound team to insure an effective flow of communication. Thanks so much for the outstanding work you do from the 'crow's nest' in the balcony. 
   There are so many people working behind the scenes to help our church minister and grow and to all of you I offer my sincere appreciation and THANKS!  Together we accomplish more than we can hope to accomplish alone.
