Mother's Day: Don't forget to be present on Sunday, May 15th as we honor our Mom.  This is their special day and we want to honor all of the mothers present on this special day.  See you there!

Introducing our "141 Acts of Kindness'" Explosion:
In honor of the 141st Anniversary of FBC we commit ourselves to "141 acts of kindness".  This is a challenge to all Sunday School classes, Mission organizations and individuals to commit to 141 "acts of kindness" beginning  May 27th and concluding on Anniversary Sunday, August 12th.

There are 10 reasons why we are challenging our church family to commit to "141 acts of Kindness".

  1. To promote the life and ministries of FBC.
  2. To honor the history and highlights of 141 years of ministries.
  3. To bring honor and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ who saved us and called us into His service.
  4. To help people experience the love and kindness of the First Baptist family.
  5. To lead people to know and accept Jesus Christ as personal Savior.
  6. To help the unchurched, the dechurched and non-committed believers to again experience a loving
    congregation of believers
  7. To provide a tool for members of FBC to practice servanthood evangelism.
  8. To model the life of Christ in everyday, practical lifestyle ministries.
  9. To encourage an attitude of joy and positive Christianity, rather than a negative lists of do's/don't.
  10. To help bear each others burden and so fulfill the Law of Christ.
Ideas and suggestions for 141 acts of kindness:

We will place a "Showing YOU God's Love in a Practical Way" tract with each "act of kindness" deed in order for people to know the name of the church and information about our church.  I wonder how many ?act of kindness' can we accomplish as a church in 12 weeks?

Together we can saturate Walton, Boone County and the surrounding area with the message of Jesus Christ and His love. Let's do it for Jesus!
