WOW!  I am excited about the wonderful spirit of our church.  God is at work among His people.  There is a sense of expectancy, excitement and FUN in the air.  

'141 Acts of Kindness' Explosion:  In honor of the 141st Anniversary of FBC we are challenging all Sunday School classes, Mission organizations and individuals to commit to 141 ?acts of kindness' beginning May 27th and concluding on Anniversary Sunday, August 12th. 
Please list and record all of the ?acts of kindness' and turn in to Sherry Jackson (S.S. church secretary), Bro. Marcus or Bro. Hale.  There will be a box available for you to bring all of your donated items for future ?acts of kindness' ministries.

There is also a list of suggested ideas available on the church bulletin board for you to look over for class projects that you can do together or individually. Remember to present a  "Showing YOU God's Love in a Practical Way" tract with each ?act of kindness' deed in order for people to know the name of the church and information about our church.  We are excited about this tool and the potential it provides for us to touch many precious people for Christ during the next 12 weeks.

Father's Day: Don't forget to be present on Sunday, June 17th as we honor our Dad's.  This is their special day and we want to honor all of the Fathers present with our annual Baby Day dedication service.
Also, the "Genesis Connection" Sunday School class will be sponsoring a Breakfast 141 for everyone present that day from 9:00 - 9:30 am.  For more information see Paula Burden.

V.B.S.  June 24th-29th:  Pray for Bro. Marcus/Bro. Todd as they help direct and organize an exciting week of activities for our kids during Vacation Bible School.  This week of fun filled Bible learning, refreshments and sports is a great opportunity of helping boys and girls to learn more about Jesus Christ.  The letters VBS teaches us great truths about this ministry.
     V- stands for VISION. God wants us to have a vision of what and who these kids can become in Christ. HE created them and loves them.  We can do no less than to love them and win them to faith in Jesus Christ.
     B-stands for BIBLE.  The word of God is our main curriculum and we want our kids to learn that God has a plan for them.
     S- stands for SPECTACULAR:  This week will be filled with FUN, cookies, games and more fun.  What a spectacular this week is going to be.  Don't miss out on the FUN!

Together let's saturate Walton, Boone County and the surrounding area with the message of Jesus Christ and His love. Let's do it for Jesus!
