Excitement:  Wow! I am so excited about the renewed sense of excitement and expectancy we are witnessing around here at FBC.
By the time you receive your copy of "The Voice" newsletter we will have finished our week of VBS.  I am SO excited about what I believe God is going to do during this week.  Each night we will have our ?pep rally for Jesus' service, cookies, Kool-Aid and lots of fun.  Pray for our workers and for all of the kids that will respond during this wonderful week of outreach.

"141 Acts of Kindness":  It's exciting to hear about the creative ways folks are becoming involved in our Acts of Kindness summer explosion.  Enlist your S.S. class or mission organization in various projects of ?kindness' ministries as an outreach tool for letting people know that we are ?showing YOU God's love in a practical way'.

f you or your class would like to collect 141 pennies, nickels, dimes, or like one person did, give $141.00; this money will be given to help pay on the various projects of our church.  Some of these projects are new shingles on the entire facility, redoing the parking lot, and relocating the bus garage.  This will be an ongoing project for the purpose of paying off the additional loan of approx. $160,000.00.  We will be calling this campaign "Investing In God's Work".  If you would like to give to this project, designate it on your offering envelop as "Project 141".

Sunday, August 12th which is our 141st Anniversary as a church will conclude our "141 Acts of Kindness" summer explosion.

"Vision 2016":  God has laid upon my heart a renewed sense of vision and dreams for the future ministries of First Baptist Church. Together we can accomplish so much more than we can do alone.  Did you know that God has provided First Baptist with a great staff? Together, this staff is striving to serve you and reach out to the community with the message of salvation.  Thank you staff for going the 'second mile' in your service to First Baptist and to our Lord Jesus Christ.

FREEDOM/4th of JULY!  On Sunday, July 1st we will be celebrating our Freedom with a very special Lord's Supper service.  On Wednesday, July 4th there will be no service in order to allow you to spend time with your family and to attend some of the great family oriented activities around the area.  Have a wonderful, safe and enjoyable 4th of July celebrating the blessings of God upon this great nation.  Let it be our prayer that truly God would bless America!!

See you each Sunday as we open the Word of God together and allow His spirit to speak and renew us day by day.  God bless you!

Project 141
On July 1st we will kick off our campaign to pay for three very important needs of our church facility.  Reshingle the roof, paving the parking lot and relocating the bus garage.  God bless as you prayerfully give.
