EASTER: "He Is Risen" On Sunday, April 8th we will be celebrating the glorious resurrection of our Lord from the dead. It is in the power of His resurrection that we have the assurance of eternal life and the spiritual resources to live victoriously in this life. Yes, He is risen indeed! Make plans to be here for a great day of celebration.
Annie Armstrong Easter Offering: Each year, we honor the life and work of Annie Walker Armstrong (1850-1938) when we give to the annual offering for home missions named after her. As a tireless servant of God and a contagious advocate and supporter of missionary efforts throughout the world, Annie Armstrong led women to unite in mission work that ultimately led to the formation of the Woman's Missionary Union.
Annie believed in Christ with all her heart, but it was her hands that expressed that belief in tangible ways. She spent a great amount of time typing and handwriting letters in support of missions. In 1893 alone, she wrote almost 18,000 letters about the work of missions.
During the month of April you will have an opportunity of giving to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering. Every dollar given to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering goes to directly support these missionaries and their ministries. Pray and give to support our wonderful missionaries.
New Sunday School Starts: Hats off to Bro. Marcus, our Minister of Education/Youth who is working diligently to help our Sunday School restart classes as well as begin new classes. Continue to pray for Mac McFarland as he strives to rebuild our college/career Sunday School class. They meet every Sunday in room 204. We are excited about restarting an old class that met for many years in the Auditorium and it will be called the Auditorium Bible Class. Plans are to begin this class on Easter Sunday for members and visitors who are late for regular S.S. or for those who have no class to attend at this time. The class will begin at 10:00 am and end at 10:30 am in order to allow our musicians and tech support people plenty of time for sound checks for the morning service.

The birth of every child reminds us of the need for each and every person in the world to experience the new birth. Jesus taught that you must be born again, and by faith in HIM we can experience the joy and the excitement of becoming a part of God's wonderful family. Isn't that great! Bro. Hale, Ps. 16:11
P.S. Grandbaby # 6 will arrive sometime in May! P.S. 2: Just recently I competed in the Northern Ky Baptist Pastors/staff basketball tournament. What a great day as Bro. Nate (Minister of Music) and I played 3 on 3 with other pastors/staff of NKBA.
